I built myself a Microchip style ICD from the descriptions and it worked
perfectly. Then, all of a sudden, it ceased to work totally. When verifying
the 876 in my PICstart it showed that the flash program memory was totally
erased. I reprogrammed it and it worked again. Does anyone have a clue why
this happened and how to avoid it?
