Annual Leonid meteor shower due in the next few days (Saturday to Monday NZ
time.)

This is predicted to be very spectacular in the Northern hemisphere
but probably very poor in NZ.
Always a chance of something good though.

In NZ viewing is low on the horizon at about 6am and 6pm when the Sun will
be competing badly.

Northern hemisphere best times will vary - there is lots on the web about
this so if interested search on "Leonids".

There will be two tails - the main one Saturday NZ time / Friday US and a
smaller one Monday NZ / Sunday US. The in between night may also have some.
