I've never actually seen one, as you probably know it's been somewhat of a flop, but from what I've heard in the UK they do very little without a subscription. Although I work for a TV shop we've never considered selling them, although we do sell the new Sky+ satellite recorder box, which is similar with a built-in 40Gb hard disk recorder - but this one records the incoming digital data so the picture is identical to the original, and you can record one program while you watch another (it has two tuners, and comes complete with a 4 way LNB - of which two are used). However, this wouldn't be of any use to you, as it can't record analogue signals. -- Nigel. /------------------------------------------------------------\ | Nigel Goodwin | E-Mail : nigelg@lpilsley.co.uk | | Lower Pilsley | Website : http://www.lpilsley.co.uk | | Chesterfield | Satellite & TV Technical Forums | | England | http://lpilsley.co.uk/phpbb/index.php | \------------------------------------------------------------/ -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
