Anyone have any thoughts on transformer coupling an EIA422 signal (250 kbps, NRZ, yes... it's DMX). It SEEMS line this might be a nice way to break ground loops. Recognizing that the signal has a DC component that would not get through the transformer, it seems that this could be "restored" using a clamping circuit (similar to the old DC Restorer in televisions). Any thoughts?
