Much comment was made about this particular concrete wall that
claimed the life of CART driver Greg Moore. Wrong place, definitely.
As you can see in the video, the wall absorbed nothing like the force
it should have, leaving the car to absorb it. Although race cars are
designed to take some abuse, this was above and beyond the call
of duty. Probably the most violent crash I've ever witnessed in many
many years of watching motorsport. Some may consider this a
morbid video, but unfortunately it's an occupational hazard for race
drivers.
