Not realy, my idea is use GPS LON/LAT COORDINATE for exactly the pleace where the device must warn me on that particular road/place/area. So a simple RAM or whatever needed to store about 2000 positions is needed ..i think. A extra option could be a speedlimit warning function like you discribe. But my main idea is store de LON/LAT of all the 2000 camera location into memory, when drive toward the camera, at 200meters ahead, the divice give a warning signal i notice my speedlimit. ( 50>80km/h = 250 meters aboeve 80km/h > 500 meters ) A simple pice of PC based software to edit the LON/LAT and speedlimit and load into memory by user himself, is needed. The PIC read LON/LAT from GPS RECEIVER and look into memory for matching LON/LAT. When find match, it wil give alarm with SOUND(piezo) and/or light (LED).
