I use pic start plus to program both chips. for 16f628, configuration bits are as follow: Oscillator: HS Watchdog timer: Off Power up timer: On Code Protect : Off Brown out detect: enable Master clear : enable Low voltage program : enable data EE protect : disable for 16f84: Oscillator:HS Watchdog timer: off Power up timer: On code protect: Off Is it because I use HS, 16f628 gives me the problem? thanks...
