To Aussie Piclisters,

Does anyone know the audio format of current analogue VHF/UHF  TV
broadcasts, especially around the Brisbane area?

My guess is:  FM-FM,  i.e.  Video freq + 5.5MHz = L+R,  Video freq + 5.5MHz
+ 276 kHz (rough) = L-R.  Both FM.

Don't need exact specs, just getting a sinking feeling that I made an
unwise purchase: TV Tuner card with NICAM / MTS stereo decoding only.  :(
If I can take this one back, does anyone have suggestions for an
alternative card in Australia that they've used and are happy with?
AFAIK, we are PAL B/G for video and FM-FM for audio.  I'm not looking to
buy into digital yet BTW...
