Jose, My father got his engineering degree in the early 60's at the Univ of the Phillipines- had two kids then and worked at night to support a family. When we moved here in the states, he managed to do well working for companies like Johnson (Outboard) motors, American Motor Corp and McDonnel Douglas- was offered job at Boeing but he turn that down to do other things. I would like to think he did pretty well applying his engineering education to a nice career. I would certainly think or hope that the education system there has at least improved in the last decades.
