... it's called "LO Leakage" and it's (surprise!) from
the LO (local oscillator) in the RADAR detector .. the
LO leakage is a functon of "mixer isolation" being poor
in the (functional) first mixer between the LO and
RF ports ... in all likelyhood this device is NOT
a doubly-balanced, three port mixer device (more likely
a single ended device like a simple diode mixer) and
will exhibit even *poorer* LO to RF port isolation ...
