Hi,

I've just replaced my mouse and am retiring the old one to other duties.
It has a HT6213B controller. Its data sheet is not available at the holtek
website, I only found HT6523 which seems to be in the same class but is
different (PS/2 - mine is MS and Mouse Systems selectable).

If anyone on this list has a data sheet for the apparently obsolete 6213B
and would be willing to share it I'd be interested. The most important
thing I want to know is, what the minimum time between frames is. E.g. how
long do I have at least between a mouse packet and the next, assuming
maximum rate inputs to the controller. Doe they come back to back ? Is
there some spec ?

I've done position feedback using mice before, but connected to a PC
serial port, where I did not have troubles of this kind (exact timing
etc).
