I have a need for a simple inexpensive charger to charge 3 NiMh cells at =
300ma. the cells have a capacity of 1800ma. Has anyone developed such a =
thing either using a PIC or not. Ideally it should have a timeout as =
well as a secondary backup for overcharge

The circuit must not continue to trickle charge after battery is full, =
or if it does at a very low level as I am told that NiMh batteries =
cannot tolerate a continuos trickle charge, correct or not?
