Hi all

I would like to make a serial interface between a PIC 12C509A and a =
16F84 i have a maximum of 4 I/O lines availble for this task on both =
chips.=20

I need to transfer 8-bits between the IC's for instance 00010010 but im =
on bare ground here, any ideas documents help etc. would be wery =
appriciated.

Also i have another question:  If i could make the serial interface with =
2 wires could i then convert the signal to RS-485 so that i could have =
extensive cable lenght ?=20
