I've used & liked a package called "allClear".  I think it's the only one that does the drawing of the boxes/lines/etc. for you.
You type your text for the chart in a outline-type syntax.  It then draws the flowchart.  You can then modify the
formatting/appearance.

This has the advantage that if you need to make revisions, just make your edits in the outline.  All the lines/boxes will get
adjusted automatically.  It doesn't work perfectly but close enough after some fiddling with the final formatting.

allClear does cost money.  Can't remember how much.

I rarely get by without revisions so I liked this package.  If any other package has this feature, I would like to hear about it.
