Is this some sort of sarcastic post?  Does any remotely recent version of
MPLAB really fully run without Windows?

BTW: for those that actually throw away 486's, I think it would be prudent
to see if there is a way to donate them to a local branch of an
international charity, there are many workers overseas that would love to
have them.
