We've had threads regarding the availability of 18Fxxx chips on PicList. As far as I know, Microchip will release them in January 2k2. So, just gotta wait for some more time. These things are really cool. But I wonder what the cost would be. I would'nt mind paying 50% more than a 16f877 for a 18F422 (also with 8k program memory and 40 pins).
