Yes, use the "name" command to name the polygon to be the same as the signal that you want it to be connected to. (select near the outline of the polygon) Then do ratsnest if needed. If you want to view the board without the polygon filled in, you can use the ripup command on a polygon (again, select near the border) to remove the fill. To get it back, use ratsnest. Also, whenever you load the board, it will not be filled in initially. To work on a board without the fill, there is a checkbox in options somewhere to make it so the ratsnest will not fill in the polygons. --BobG -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of Ed Heath Sent: Thursday, September 20, 2001 2:46 AM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: Eagle circuit board software Thanks Gabriel I just tried that and it fill in but it looks like it disconnected from the pins, as well as the trace that went through it that was on the same side and also the ground that the polygon needs to be connected to? Does it have to be set to VSS?
