> Is it possible to use MPLAB's editor by itself? Yes. > Is it even a separate program (binary) from the IDE? I have MPASMWIN.exe which is a self-contained compiler for asm, this was supplied with "programming editor", the software used with my programmer. The editor can be downloaded from http://www.tech-supplies.co.uk for free if you supply your e-mail address. Alternatively I can post the Mpasmwin.exe and mpasm.hlp which comes to 1.55Mb ( a little too big for e-mail i think) and will remove it once sone-one has found the proper download site. The files will be posted to http://www.darksite.co.uk/pic/ hopefully in at least 20 mins from now (2:20pm GMT) Hope this helps, Mark Craig m.craig@ntlworld.com Glasgow Scotland -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
