OK - well done.

Now we've managed to drive James away with our winging and moaning
(not to mention the OT posts).
We are mostly pretty technically competent here and even most of the
beginners can follow basic instructions (can't you?).

The list presently works with a "tag" system.
It's CLEARLY explained at www.piclist.com
Tags are not ideal but they have some good points too.
That's what we've got and 95%+ of people seem to use it OK.

If you don't want posts that are not about PICs or at least electrical
engineering, turn off the [OT]: channel by clicking on:

To turn it back on click on:
mailto:LISTSERV@MITVMA.MIT.EDU?body=SET%20PICLIST%20TOPICS:%20+%5BOT%5D

An alternative is to simply filter all [OT]: content to trash on receipt - a
feature which most browsers support.

If those who really don't want to see the OT traffic do the above for a
few weeks the chances are that things will have returned to normal.
