when I boot from a floppy, a startup disk,
it arrive at the a: floppy prompt, when I type sys
it gives the message
Bad command or file name


I assume you meant this to be done from the hard drive prompt maybe,
however, it doesn't seem to recognize that the hard drive is there...I've
tried switching, using cd c:\ -perhaps this is wrong or not enough...

can I mount the hard drive some way? then do your 'sys'
