Other than the killing of innocent people, which has affected American
members of this list and also other countries (A lot of foreigners died
in WTC as well, including from here).
How far reaching did the attack affect you?
Me, here in Cape Town, SA. My internet was slowed down to a crawl, my
service provider lost a 45 Meg circuit (international link) due to fibre
optics being destroyed that ran near the WTC. All traffic has been
rerouted, cloging up our national lines. Work wise, it took me two days
to try and email my PCB files to my manufacturer and I had a tough time
looking up data sheets and other info, including piclist.com.
And a lot more trivial: I am going to miss viewing the beast of an
aircraft carrier, the USS Enterprise, which was due to call on our port
later this month and was now recalled.
Small things, I know, but the tremors from this attack runs all over the
world.
