I am trying to understand WHY someone would do this.  What circumstances
bring about the decision that terrorism is the best course of action?
Extremist selfish idiots?  Then fine, let's hang them.  But are there any
other plausible scenarios?  I know sometimes I forget how lucky I am to be
an American.  So maybe I can't imagine being so hopeless, oppressed and
beaten down that I would resort to terrorism; I am trying to understand
how someone could do this.

I'm not always proud to be a part of the western way of life.
