Hi, Lawrence. Sounds like you had a great time! Did you arrive on Fri night and stay through Sun? We bought even more camping stuff last weekend; I think we've got everything we need. Now, to test fit all the stuff into the canoe and see how it packs. I'm considering just one more purchase; I found a Coleman XTREME cooler that is supposed to keep ice for 5 days in 90 deg weather. $29.95 at Dick's sporting goods. Also, we had a new gigantic grocery store open up here in Rockford on Fri, and we spent 1.5 hrs picking through the offerings in order to put together our menu for the trip. Tonight, we'll put it all together and plan our meals. Do you fish any? I'm wondering if we'll be able to catch much on the Current. This would be a nice addition to the week's menu. I know there's trout, but I'm hoping for some panfish as well. Trout are overrated, especially to eat. Posible we would be one of those wiped out at the rapids; we've never tried to run any before. On our first canoe trip, last year, we got ourselves into a situation where we were cross-ways to the current against a log in the river. The canoe was vibrating up and down and had we leaned the wrong way, the water would have come in over the upstream side adn swamped us. As it was, we pulled our way along the log to the side of the river and got around it. Close call!
