You might need to make a 'null modem' connection at your PC, I always = use do. I use HyperTerminal like this too. To do a null modem at the PC end of your serial cable: Connect RTS and CTS together Connect DTR and DSR and CD together After this, standard HT settings with same baud rate always works for = me.
