Since I am mounting the camera on a R/C plane, it must be light as posible, I am not going to add or change the Tx power (more power = bigger battery) so we can forget about the legal side (the Tx is rated FCC part 15). I want to make my own dipole which I want to build into the tail fin. I will do a bit of research into the formula for a dipole. How would changing the antenna change the spec IRW wattage? So that leaves me with the Rx, since this is on the ground, weight is not a problem, I will look into the loop Yagi. What is MMIC amplifiers, Dave?
