Hey thanx for that! I've downloaded the data sheet from Microchip. Had a lotta trouble - their ftp thingy doesn't seem to work too well. The 16F877 looks fantastic. Any tips where to take a look at some example code? Anything, really. One project that's sort of on the horizon is to interface a graphic lcd (T0693) via a serial connection, which could be IR/RF or cable, to a PC. The idea is to load images from the PC's HD and show them remotely on the LCD. I've got Steve Lawther's code for interfacing a graphic lcd to a 16F84 but this chip would leave pins to spare for keypad, serial channel etc. Ha, but I'm a *long way* from being able to do it right now.
