Many years ago I picked up a brand new light plane at the factory. In
the first leg back you are keenly listening for every little noise. The
first bump I hit in the air when the plane when briefly negative was
followed by slap of cables hitting the fuselage skin.

Harmless but one can sure have an active imagination for a few seconds.
