Harold, How about a DXF to Gerber file converter? I have used gerbcon.exe which is a crude DOS application to convert exported DXF files from AutoCAD and TurboCAD to Gerber files. The gerbcon.exe application can not properly handle "lights" and some other AutoCAD attributes. It is best to remove "lights" in AutoCAD and to view the intended output DXF file in a DXF viewer to assure that only the intended artwork is present. The free ware gerbcon.zip file (73k) is available at www.pcbexpress.com/PCBlink.html under the Free Ware heading.
