Hi All, I just downloaded the "pocket.zip" file and in the "readme.txt" I've found the following statement: "The software for this project has been made freely available to the public but it is not to be used for profit making reasons of any kind." Does it mean that using the "pocket" for programming chips used in commercial designs is illegal? BTW. Is the CUMP project still alive? Has anybody heard about the another open source/open hardware programmer able to programm different families uf uC (8051-like 8952-like, PICs, AVRs, 68HCs... ), and different EPROMS & EEPROMS? It probably could be done with single 16F877 and a little of analog stuff, but has anybody tried it? -- TIA & Regards, Wojciech Zabolotny wzab@ise.pw.edu.pl -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
