I built the pocket programmer from bubblesoft.

with the pocketpro.exe (the nice GUI) on the webpage.  I have used the
pocket.exe  and have calibrated, imported, programmed, read, then exported a
hex file back to the host PC and verified that the hex files were the same.
I'm sure the communication is ok with the programmer, and the programmer can
program a PIC, but the pocketpro software gives me a timeout waiting for the
programmer board.  My "pocket.dat" file has the correct com port in it, (if
I change it, BOTH programs start complaining) but there's no mention of baud
or anything in that file.  Obviously I'm missing something.
Can anybody help?   I get the same behavior on 2K and 98.


BTW, if anyone cares, that was a GREAT kit to put together.
