HI all, has anyone comments about the RFID systems from
the various manufacturers with respect to reliability, supply,
price etc ? I need to get a price for > 1M and any comments
listers have could be important. Apart from the larger micro
companies, are there any others I should be aware of ?

Also, any significant differences between the MHz and kHz
varieties. The application is expected to have about 0.5m
range. Although I've looked into RFID in the past, I haven't
actually used the chips (mainly because of the set-up costs),
so I've some idea of what they are capable of. Just looking
for practical advice
