Hi all, Just a quick note to say that I *think* I've got some software to work with the NOPPP programmer under Windows programming 16F877s. I've tried various methods, including editing the original source code but that's in Microsoft C which appears to be different other forms of C. Doesn't that kind of defeat the object of a "universal" platform transparent language (asbestos underpants on)? Anyway, after trying various compilers to get it working (TC2.01, DJGPP and MC) I gave up. I've modifed the Linux version (which includes 16F877s) which was written for GCC. After changing a few bits it compiles under DJGPP for DOS/Windows. I've written and read and verified a few PICS and all seems to be well. 16F877 support is included. If all goes well I'll add 16F826 shortly. I am a LLL programmer so C/C++ isn't really my thing but it seems to work so far. If anyone wants to look at the changes (which are admittedly minimal), the source code and compiled executable can be DLed from my website website.lineone.net/~btbromilow/hereare.htm Ben -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways. See http://www.piclist.com/#archives for details.
