Hi Roman, I did not pay attention to that. I just wanted to see
whether I could apply a significant OV to the pin, dropped thru
a series R, without blowing the internal diode. I probably did
something like +/-25v thru a 330R resistor, or about 80 mA.

As a matter of course, I always use a series R in situations
where pins go to the external world, and might see OV's and
short circuits.
