Ahh, that makes more sence now :) thanks.

Im trying to get some large LED digits going - I put 20 mA thru them and
measured about 7.5 volts drop across them.

I got them ages ago from jaycar (3 of them) planning to stick them in
the front of my computer case hardwired to some speed that is now
pathetic for clock speed. Now I have a different use for them ofcource
they have stopped selling the green ones.

Still, a clock would be interesting with the hours digit in red :) hehe
