I too use Boardmaker (V2.732) and don't have unreliability problems with the dongle. Just a thought, are you running under Windows or pure DOS? If Windows 95/98 then check your printer port settings. Go to Control Panel and click on your printer. Click on Properties then Details then Port Settings. Make sure that Windows doesn't spool DOS print jobs. If that isn't the problem, then I don't know what it is. Tsien are trying to migrate Version 2 users to Boardmaker 3, but only seem to offer a software lease arrangement which I am not keen on.
