After you select dos or windows and hit enter you will see
the "Startling MS-DOS..." message, and at that point you can
press F8 or hold the CTRL key or whatever.  That's because
LILO just chains off to whatever the normal OS boot would
be in the first place.

I have though about doing it without Linux, but not that
much and haven't tried anything.  It would be fairly
simple to have, but more complicated to *install*.
