The stamp no longer gets hot, so whatever was interfering could have burnt up. But now when I try and program the device, the software says it detects it, but it's not responding. But whatever happened to it I'm sure destroyed it, I burned my finger when I touched the microcontroller on the stamp. When the stamp initially started to burn up, it was unprogrammed, and nothing was attached. All pins were in there place from what I can see, and that would seem the only place for error on my part (it was in the board of education, and I got a BS2sx that came assembled).
