Can any one tell me of a site or where I could find
a good introductory example of connecting two or more
pics together?

--to perform any function...

--to perform calculations, then communicate

I am interested more in the software side than anything else.  I'd like to
get an idea of how you might use a pic to perform a calculation or
take a measurement, and then communicate this back to a 'master', or
whatever, and then make use of it.
