Not naive, just reality, and really quite sincere, if someone spends the
time to crack it, be it 5 minutes or 5 years, in any case, they've earned
whatever jewels of wisdom they can divine from my code.  Basically, by
expending considerable effort in working around the 77's woeful flash
protection, I've clearned my conscience of the matter.  In other words, I've
done what I was able to do given the circumstances.  And I'm fine with that.

Terms like the above a usually applied to non standard encryption schemes
which are not publicly tested but homemade and therefore considered to be
secure.

Unless you are a cryptologist i fully agree:

Sounds like you did not expect someone out there to be more genius than the
author of that piece of code. A somewhat naive perspective of the reality.
