Hi Duane, Try Cadint at http://www.cadint.com . With their new manuals they are now very easy to learn. They have a free download version which is certainly usable at the "home project" or "school project" level. Upgrade to the full unlimited professional version is seamless (that's what you are using with pincount restrictions) and in steps that are affordable for the level of work they allow you to do. Stable, yes. Industrial strength, yes. Will print to anything Windows will but will not suggest trace routes (that's your job). Has an easy Gerber output facility which is just a few clicks to a complete zipped Gerber package that most board houses will accept as is. I've used/tried several schematic/pc layout packages over the years and NOBODY has better integration between the schematic and pc layout sides.
