I recently purchased a quantity of 16HV540-20/P from a
reputable supplier, Digikey.

In checking each device, the Fosc bits in the
configuration word are not blank, but rather at 10.

The clock modes are;

     11 RC
     10 HS
     01 XT
     00 LP

Thus, the PICs have been preprogrammed for HS and I
can use this and I can also program them for LP.

Is this a fluke or are the -20 devices preprogrammed
for HS (10) and the -04 devices for XT (01).
