I had not considered the impression left on people reading the HEADLINES
but not the STORY; you are right, that could definitely present a bad
impression.  I, in fact was reading the STORY without reading the
HEADLINE...it is pretty alarmist!  I guess I should have taken the
initiative to move the subject off-list earlier.

I would hope everyone at least comes away from this with an impression that:
1. TechTools _DOES_ BETA testing rather than 'bug swaps called upgrades'
2. TechTools is responsive to BETA BUG REPORTS.
3. TechTools does not consider BETA BUGs as dirty laundry to be
hidden/denied or ignored.
