I normally don't like to say anything good about a Microsoft product:), but
I use Sourcesafe - now as an individual developer, and before as a part of a
team. If you use MSDevStudio it makes sense because it has good integration.
It is pretty easy to setup.  For straight-forward stuff it works fine.  In a
group where you want to have multiple branches of the code base, it does not
do as well - more difficult to design good practices and get everyone to
understand and follow them.  However, I have yet to see a version control
software that does it right.

I have not used PVCS in 5 years, so I am sure it has gotten better, but then
I did not like it.

I may have asked about this before but times change and people (er, me) get
more annoyed with the tool they are currently using.....

So, is anyone out there using MS Sourcesafe?

If so :
What do you think of it (and are you in a team or lone) ?
How do you think it compares with PVCS (v 6.5)?
Any recommendations for VCS that you think is better than Sourcesafe/PVCS?
