I just downloaded and installed TDE 4.2 Beta 2 without any problems.

As far as macros go..... it will depend on your assembler. CVASM does
not support macros, but MPASM does. IF you want to use MPASM with TDE,
choose MPASM as your "Project Tool" and add the following to your
autoexec.bat:

Path=%PATH%;C:\Progra~1\MPLAB

(or wherever you have installed MPASM)
