Hello everyone, Back to this old topic, I was wondering if anyone has purchased the programmer kit from amazon electronics (P16PRO PIC Programmer (40 pin version) (assembled or in kit), Order Code CPS96, http://www.electronics123.com/amazon/catalogue/c3-3-7.htm. If anyone is using this for the PIC16f87x can you please let me know if your experience has been a positive one. Thank-you very much, Wade ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nigel Goodwin" To: Sent: Saturday, June 23, 2001 11:01 PM Subject: Re: [PIC]: Best way to program PIC16F876 > In message <004601c0fc52$0c93bb20$d6527118@rchmd1.bc.wave.home.com>, > Wade Carpenter writes > >Thank-you for the quick reply Andrew. > > > >Yes, I'm an EE (student) working on hobby projects during weekends and > >evenings, so I'm trying to avoid the cost of the programmer that would > >seriously exceed my budget! > > > >So then it would come down to "I'm trying to build a parallel port > >programmer."
