Hello all. I have a PDR-1600 infrared solder station in house that will do SMT of everything. I'd be happy to stuff a PCB if all the parts are sent with it. There would be a charge of course, but i suspect that would be negotiable on a case by case basis. For that matter I also have in house a circuit board plotter, miller, driller, etcher, and full electroplating tank for plated through holes. The only thing I can't do is soldermask and silkscreen. For that I'd have to lay out another $4,000 for the equipment and it didn't make much sense for me to do it, I only prototype for verification immediately before going to mass production in Hong Kong or Taiwan. Just a thought anyway... -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of Tony Nixon Sent: Tuesday, July 17, 2001 6:37 PM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [Fwd: $33 each] Advanced circuits PCB's Roman Black wrote: > > Hi Steve, thanks for the info. I'd be interested knowing how the oven and paste work out. I might have to set up something like that myself. I takes me about an hour to solder the parts on this small PCB and the result is not very professional looking and is bound to lead to problems. Is the Farnell Part number - 149-968 What oven brand do you use? Does this method work on double sided SM components? Sorry for the questions :-) -- Best regards Tony mICros http://www.bubblesoftonline.com mailto:sales@bubblesoftonline.com -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
