Yes, set your 19" monitor to 800x600 when you run MPLAB, or get
your 15" monitor to run at a higher resolution. Look at screen settings,
'advanced' to see if you can lower the adaptor refresh rate
or go to interlace mode to get a higher resoloution yet stay within
your older monitor's capabilities. Interlaced 600 will give you the
1200 lines you need to match you 19", but I doubt that your
1600 pixels would be very clear.
