Mike, I believe that was my response to you in which I mentioned the possibility of writing a script. Anyway, it is good to know what is causing the problems and how to work around it for now, thanks again. For PICListers with digest problems... As Mike describes below, LSOFT seems to have added a space to the blank line between posts in the digest. Removing it fixes the problem. Others have indicated that following command (sent in the body of a message to listserv@mitvma.mit.edu) SET PICList DIGEST NOMIME also helped. LSOFT support is forwarding the issue to their programmers. --- James Newton, Admin #3 mailto:jamesnewton@piclist.com 1-619-652-0593 VM 1-208-279-8767 FAX PIC/PICList FAQ: http://www.piclist.com or .org -----Original Message----- From: Mike DeMetz [mailto:miked@technologist.com] Sent: Monday, July 16, 2001 10:37 To: James Newton. I saw on yesterday's that someone else had discovered it and wrote a script to change SpcCRLF to CRLF. I haven't tried the NOMIME option yet. > -----Original Message----- > From: Mike DeMetz [mailto:miked@technologist.com] > Sent: Friday, July 13, 2001 08:44 > To: jamesnewton@PICLIST.COM > Subject: [OT]: digests > Importance: Low > > > I finally tested my theory that the blank lines with leading spaces is the > problem(i.e. SpcCRLF instead of CRLF). > I opened the digest in Word with the Space character code displayed.
