Here in central California, Orchard Supply Hardware carries sheet aluminum, brass, steel, and stainless in various sizes and thicknesses. (They also carry sheet plexiglass and lexan as well. Very handy at times.) If and when your quantities grow, a good working relationship with a small local machine/sheet metal shop can be an invaluable asset.
