Agree, but how many hours will you need to get it perfect again if you loose
them?
I don't know your flying skills and requirements from the radio. You can get
a heli to hover and fly with minimal adjustments. However it usually takes
me least 4 hours (some at home + some at the field) before I get my heli
ready for 3D. Also, you will never get it the same as it was before, so you
will still have to get used to the new setup.
